Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the Gathervite service (“Service”) operated by Simurg Yazılım. By downloading the app, creating an account, or using an invite link, you accept these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Gathervite is a free invite-management product for private events. It combines invitations, RSVP responses, personalized QR tickets, door check-in, reminder notifications, photo walls, surveys, gift lists, and event chat.

Gathervite does not sell paid tickets, take commissions, or process payments. It is not a corporate ticketing marketplace or event agency.

2. Parties and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or act with a legal guardian’s consent. You must provide accurate account information.

• Host: creates events, sends invites, manages door entry.
• Co-host: may invite or check in guests under host permissions.
• Guest: responds to invites and uses tickets; an account is optional for invite-link flows.

3. Account and security

Sign-in uses email and password (or magic link). You are responsible for account security and device sessions. Creating accounts with someone else’s email, sharing credentials, or attempting unauthorized access is prohibited. We may suspend accounts for suspicious use.

4. Events, invites, and content

You are responsible for event titles, descriptions, locations, cover images, invite lists, photos, survey questions, chat messages, and gift lists you create or upload.

Prohibited content includes:

• Illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or violence
• Material that infringes intellectual property or personality rights
• Misleading event information or fake invites
• Spam, bulk unsolicited invites, or system abuse

We may remove content, cancel events, or restrict accounts for violations.

5. Tickets, QR codes, and check-in

QR tickets may be issued for accepted invites and are valid only for the related event and guest. Creating fake tickets, abusing ticket copies, manipulating check-in, or using another person’s ticket without permission is prohibited.

Offline check-in queues sync when connectivity returns; server records prevail in conflicts. Hosts may grant co-hosts check-in permission.

6. Notifications

We may send invite, ticket, and reminder emails, and (if permitted) push notifications. You can change preferences in app settings. Operational security messages may still be required.

7. Third-party services

Email delivery, maps/calendar links, app stores, and (in production) ad SDKs may be used. Those providers’ own terms may also apply.

8. Intellectual property

The Gathervite brand, UI, and software belong to Simurg Yazılım. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a license necessary to operate the Service.

9. Changes and availability

We may update, pause, or discontinue features. The Service is provided “as is” without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Material changes may be announced in-app or on the web.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, third-party outages, or consequences arising from user content. Physical event safety and guest relationships remain the host’s responsibility.

11. Termination

You may request account/data deletion at any time. We may terminate access for Terms violations.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

13. Subscription (Max plan)

Gathervite’s core features are free on the “Basic” plan, which shows ads and applies limits such as 20 guests per event, a single check-in gate and 7-day photo retention. Max is a paid subscription that renews monthly and offers an ad-free experience, unlimited guests, multiple check-in gates, full-access event managers, public registration, 30-day photo retention and permanent event statistics.

• The price and currency are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel it at any time in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Max features remain available until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds for unused time are subject to the relevant store’s refund policy.
• Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; cancel it separately to stop billing.
